Tim Tebow & Abortion

(Commentary)

Those of us who watch college football love the competition and camaraderie of the players and the spirit of the game. In this we find our passion for the things we enjoy and believe in. Yes, a game that is played on a field, but a game that reminds us of where hard work, dedication, perseverance, and belief mix together to form a winning recipe for life. Tim Tebow has shown himself openly that he is not a reed shaken in the wind by his stance for his faith and what he believes in.

Tim Tebow and his mother Pam have come under fire recently due to their convictions and for that, ever present evil raises its repugnant head in opposition. The controversy surrounds a soon to be televised ad during Super Bowl that tells a short story about his mother Pam's decision give birth to Tim despite her illness that could cost her life and that of her unborn child. Going against the doctor's advice Pam delivered Tim Tebow. God has honored that decision in many ways for this family.

For all of the goodness that has been wrought by this birth and Tim's positive influence on others, he and his mom have been demonized as pushing their agenda of pro-life. The ad a 30 second spot costing $2.5 million dollars is being paid for by Focus on the Family who is pro-life, anti-gay. In other words they stand for what the correct things that honors human life, but from God's perspective, not men.

The real objective of NOW( National Organization of Women) and their shills is to tear down those who stand for the sanctity of human life. If as the Bible states it, that there is not a sparrow that falls that God doesn't know about, how much more in regards to the killing of unborn children. Jesus, said, hinder not the little ones and yet they are hindered under the guise of women's rights. Isn't this the appeal that Satan made in the Garden, to Eve? Hath God said? Of course you have to believe there is a God, and if not then it is easy for you to fall prey to the lie. Do away with God, then all else is relative morality.

The idea that it has become a woman's right to kill their unborn children at will under protection of laws legislated by men, will garner no blessings from the Almighty. I've been attacked on blogs for making my stance as an old man, out of touch, not mainstream America. I've been told that I'm not a woman so how do I know. I don't need to be a woman to know what is right as it concerns unborn children. If that be so, then mainstream America waddles in a cesspool of filth that itself needs to be aborted from. It amazes me that no matter the party in power ALL have failed to reverse Roe vs Wade and in the meantime, America the Beautiful, America the Great, has descended into hell. You don't need me to point it out or stimulate the intellect it is abundantly before our faces.

I'm not against women or gay people or anyone else. The Lord died for all alike without distinction, but I'm against what they stand for. To say that a woman has a right to kill her child and that right is mutually between her and her doctor is absurb and is insane thinking.

The argument that is most often postulated is if the pregnancy endangers the life of the mother then a woman has the right to abort. In some cases, this is true, but that is the smoke and mirrors thrown up by those who advocate abortion as a woman's right, not as a medically necessary procedure to save a mother's life. There is room for life saving medical procedures in select circumstances and for those cases I believe God has made special provision for the unborn child and for the mother's relief of conscious.

NOW and its shills attempt to deify women. It's not about women's rights. It's about political agendas and quite frankly hate. Hate of all that stands for good if it opposes their political agenda of radicalizing every female in the world. The Greeks had their Gods, many of them women, that they paid homage to in exchange for favor. Is that not what NOW and its shills are doing erecting their God and now NOW wants all to bow to that image even if it means killing their children?

By now, some may be thinking that I really don't like women. I admire women that are truly women. Those who understand that God made them free already as a women created by Him, not needing of organizations who attempt to re-define women as objects to be worshipped. I know not a man that has been long married as I have been to not love, honor and respect their wife's for all that they are and do. As a man I can readily testify in my own case that God provided me a wife that has tenderized the heart of my sometimes stubborn nature. For this, I'm blessed and much to be thankful for, I pray for my wife daily as I know she does me.

God really does work in mysterious ways. All of this hoopla created by NOW and its shills has only served to bring light to the better things. Their attempt to demonize, Tim and his mother Pam, while they mean it for hateful and despicable purposes, will backfire on them. God can make a crooked stick straight and use bad for good and can inflict arrows of conviction in numerous ways. Don't be fooled, God is not mocked; he will take those in their foolishness.

The $2.5 million dollars that Focus on the Family is spending on this ad will reap huge rewards beyond the monetary. It will save some years of silent suffering for mothers who are intending on killing their unborn child. It will save an unborn child's life, even if that child is put up for adoption and is raised in a loving and caring environment. It will sanctify life as God intended to be and bring joy to others.

To Tim, Pam and your family, be assured the winds are shifting and you are the ones of the voices crying in the wilderness to those who have lost their way.
